A customer oriented approach to generating business originates from the service provided by our employees
Achieving Customer Orientated Business Objectives
Turkish Bank personnel play a pivotal role in achieving our business targets. One of our business objectives is to become a more customer oriented Bank. Turkish Bank’s’ policy regarding the Personnel function is that we provide an exemplary service to internal clients (staff) in order to ensure that employee motivation and enthusiasm levels are kept high. Ensuring that the aforementioned is maintained, requires two forms of practice that Turkish Bank adopt.
Training & Development
As we believe that staff are our major assets, we believe that they must be adequately educated, trained and developed via a mixture of internal and external courses, aimed at increasing awareness of the service and products we provide. By achieving this, Turkish Bank believes that the right skills and attitudes are acquired by staff in order to provide a reliable front line service to customers.
Recruitment & Selection
The other form of practice adopted by Turkish Bank is to have the right policies and procedures in place to recruit and select the right people for the right job. Positions vacated at Turkish Bank result from internal promotions, transfers, and resignations or have been created by an increase in volume of business. We strive to fill positions that require experience and knowledge by way of internal promotions, transfers. We also recruit inexperienced new staff and develop them ourselves via on the job & external training and close supervision.
Our recruitment process is structured in a way, which will enable us to recruit staff who have the right attitudes, competencies and ambitions to succeed in Turkish Bank, and to assist us in achieving the Bank’s’ business objectives.
Candidate Profile
In order to attract high calibre personnel, Turkish Bank will always reward performance and offer attractive benefits to the right candidates. Candidates can either be of graduate calibre, school or college leaver, have some work experience (preferably in Banking), PC skills, numerate and literate, have a good command of Turkish and English. They must have the ability to use initiative and common sense where necessary and must be an effective team player.
If you are interested in working for Turkish Bank and believe that you meet the requirements of the above profile, complete the employment application form and send it to Human Resources Department, Head Office, with a covering letter outlining why you want to work for Turkish Bank and in what capacity.
